Buskers - 178 Thames Street - Newport, Rhode Island
A Family Owned, Authentic Irish Pub & Restaurant
“Buskers” is a family owned Irish Pub and Restaurant located in the heart of Newport Rhode Island. Renovated in 2003 its owners employed architects and carpenters from Ireland to give Buskers the authentic and cozy atmosphere you can enjoy today.
The artifacts, bric-a-brac and pictures that are displayed throughout the pub are all genuine Irish antiques imported from Ireland. Some pieces are over 100 years old. A well known local artist who has trained in Irish Calligraphy and art, painted the murals and pictures. The stained glass is custom and handmade from County Mayo in Ireland.
The menu offers a wide variety of food and beverage. As well as the Irish staple dishes we offer American favorites and seasonal specials. We have over 18 beers on tap, a vast selection of Irish and Scotch whiskies and pride ourselves on our extensive and affordable wine menu. We have won awards for our Irish Coffee and Margarita. Buskers is a member of the Kinsale Fine Food Festival since 2004.

Copy and Paste from Microsoft Word
WebWriter Help
Copy and Paste from Microsoft Word WebWriter
Want to copy and paste directly from Microsoft Word? Think again! You can copy text from Word, but make sure to use the ’Paste from Word’ icon when pasting into a new article (or editing an old article). If you paste it directly into the Main Text Box, extra HTML will be entered causing your article to not format correctly. The ’Paste from Word’ icon removes the extra HTML and keeps your story together.
For a video demonstration on how to use the ’Paste from Word’ tool, please click here.
