Copy and Paste from Microsoft Word

Copy and Paste from Microsoft Word

Want to copy and paste directly from Microsoft Word? Think again! You can copy text from Word, but make sure to use the ’Paste from Word’ icon when pasting into a new article (or editing an old article). If you paste it directly into the Main Text Box, extra HTML will be entered causing your article to not format correctly. The ’Paste from Word’ icon removes the extra HTML and keeps your story together.

For a video demonstration on how to use the ’Paste from Word’ tool, please click here.
